The St. Croix Oak Savanna and Twin Cities chapters of Wild Ones are partnering with the Minnesota Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (MASLA), and "Blue Thumb-Planting for Clean Water" to present this event.
Each of our speakers is an author and advocate for renewing the ecosystems that are our yards, gardens and landscapes. Together they will discuss the latest research on symbiotic relationships between native plants and soils, microorganisms, insects and wildlife. With thoughtful design, these elements work together to create robust landscapes and healthy communities.

TOWARD HARMONY WITH NATURE
Saturday, January 30, 2010. 14th Annual TOWARD HARMONY WITH NATURE Conference, a day-long seminar on native landscaping sponsored by Fox Valley Area Chapter of Wild Ones. Keynote speaker, Dr. James A Reinartz, Director, UW Milwaukee Field Station and Adjunct Professor Biological Sciences, UWM "Wisconsin's Green Quilt: Patterns of Native Plant Communities."
Oshkosh Convention Center, Oshkosh, WI.
Nine expert guest speakers on a variety of natural landscaping topics are featured in concurrent sessions, along with the keynote speaker, buffet lunch, and exhibits by native plant nurseries, nature centers, booksellers, nature artists, and environmental organizations.

Many of you have been asking about things we might need at the WILD Center, so her's our list.
