The Fox Valley Area Chapter holds an annual all-day natural landscaping conference in Oshkosh. Expert guest speakers on a variety of natural landscaping topics are featured in concurrent sessions, along with a keynote speaker, buffet lunch, and exhibits by native plant nurseries, nature centers, booksellers, nature artists, and environmental organizations. Think Spring The annual Fox Valley Area Chapter native plant sale gives area residents opportunity to select good quality plant product for use in their plantings. For more information, contact sale Coordinator.

Not-for-profits - Any not-for-profit organization is eligible for a discount on plants purchased for use in developing outdoor learning centers and nature areas. For further information, please contact the WILD Center at 920-730-3986.

WILD Center - We invite, appreciate and need your volunteer help at WILD Center. Remember to record your hours on one of the Time Sheets for Wild Ones Volunteers located in the front entrance or in the tool shed. Your hours are credited toward Fox Valley Chapter’s use of the WILD Center facility. Examples of hands-on tasks and a WILD Center Wish List are available here. Thank you for making difference in our communities!

Grants - The Fox Valley Area Chapter has established a "Natural Landscaping for Tomorrow" fund which awards grants ranging from $100-$500 to Fox Valley Wisconsin area schools, houses of worship, and other public and nonprofit organizations who wish to create natural landscapes or outdoor classrooms using native plants. Applications are due January 15. Notification of awards is given in March. Natural Landscaping for Tomorrow grant applications may be obtained from the Wild Ones national office at 920-730-3986.
Organization - We invite, appreciate and need your participation on our committees and in our organization. We are especially looking for volunteers to serve on the Special Events Committee. Information regarding offices, committees and chapter organization here.
Conservation - If you are interested in tracking efforts and legislative issues that affect conservation in Wisconsin, here are a few links: Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters, Aldo Leopold Foundation, Wisconsin Conservation Congress, Wisconsin Conservation Hall of Fame.

Chapter Business is generally conducted at Board meetings, leaving members free at chapter meetings to focus on program topics and networking. Contact our Program Chair for information on upcoming meetings.
Yard Tours of member properties are one of our most popular recurring programs. For information on having your yard included on a tour, contact our Program Chair.
Bus Tours require pre-registration no less than 2 weeks prior to each trip. A fee will be charged for bus tours.
Car Pools organized for tours and field trips will be announced.

Show Me/Help Me is a great way to network and learn from one another. This exchange provides an opportunity for both experienced members to share their knowledge and less experienced ones to learn and ask questions. On this day, chapter members will meet with the Appleton Voice, a group of neighboring residents who are working on revitalizing this ravine park. As we walk through this park, information will be offered to help Voice members restore the park by making the landscape environmentally sustainable.
