The July 21 meeting will be a garden open house at the Kaufman residence. Stop by 6212 W. Reynolds Rd, Haslett, MI 48840 between 6:00 and 8:30 pm for a unique and memorable tour.
Over time, Wild Ones member and Master Gardener Laurie Kaufman has converted much of the lawn at her Lake Lansing area home into perennial flower gardens using a mix of native Michigan plants as well as traditional garden favorites. The result is an aesthetically pleasing display that also provides habitat for birds and butterflies. She has also incorporated several rain gardens to capture storm run-off and conserve rainwater. A plant list will be distributed to participants. Everyone is welcome!
